Description
This hands-on event makes full use of CodeGenie MDA capabilities, processes and translation artifacts. The programme enables evaluators to conduct an in-depth review of MDA and CodeGenie’s core and extensible features. To accomplish this goal, the programme provides under-the-cover tool examination and process appraisal in the context of the evaluator’s own development environment
Whilst emphasis is placed on gaining practical knowledge and skills in MDA and the CodeGenie MDA toolset, the wider project implications of deploying MDA automation are addressed.
Outcomes- Understanding of the Object Management Group’s MDA process and artifacts
- Understanding of the practicalities of CodeGenie MDA automation
- Understanding of MDA deployment strategies and implications (in terms of costs & benefits)
- Appreciation of key differentiators in the MDA automation market, and CodeGenie’s USP
Format
The FastTrack combines a series of short presentations with practical workshops using CodeGenie. In preparing for the FastTrack, the MDA evaluator is encouraged to identify specific application, architecture or code generator capabilities of significance to their development team. In these circumstances, practical sessions will be devoted to addressing these topics.
Prerequisites
Participants will normally be graduates in a computing-related discipline or have equivalent industrial experience, and must therefore have practical knowledge of software construction techniques.
Who Should Attend?
FastTrack is designed for an audience of no more than 3 delegates, ideally comprising a systems (or business) analyst, an architect and a software systems manager
